After fighting their way through the dungeon, Aedan finally meets up with Howe.

In the dungeons, the party finds guards waiting for them. He leaves after saying that Howe was last seen going into the dungeons, and that he’ll find Aedan later that night to talk more. His name is Riordan, and he says that Howe captured him using an offer of fake hospitality and a poisoned chalice. The room at the end of the hall leads down to a secret dungeon, where the party finds another Grey Warden. The handmaiden says that Howe’s room is at the end of the corridor. Anora then says to break the magic Aedan will have to find the mage who cast it, who will likely be at Howe’s side. She says that Howe wasn’t content to just lock her in, and that he felt it necessary to seal the door with magic. After the group finds Anora, she says that there’s been a setback to the rescue plan. have to sneak around to the back entrance of the castle. With a plan decided upon, Aedan gets ready to break Anora out of Howe’s estate. However, before Aedan can leave the castle, Anora’s handmaiden arrives and tells them that Anora’s being held captive by Howe.Īedan agrees to rescue her, and the handmaiden says that because Howe hires so many new guards and servants daily that a few more will go unnoticed. After he leaves, Eamon says that they need to see which nobles will support their cause against Loghain. The group bickers over current and past events until Loghain gets mad and leaves in a huff. However, immediately after getting to Denerim, the party meets Loghain again. Once the Landsmeet’s been called, everyone travels to Denerim to stay at Eamon’s estate during the Landsmeet’s duration.
